![]() It is long, and has a great endgame/post-game! A lot of monster collectors I find fall a little short in terms of length, but not here!.It is a little x-com-esque, you can also build new facilities to do new things. It isn't minecraft or The Sims, but it is a nice diversion and it fits with the overall experience. You get a castle instead of a house and you can customise it surprisingly extensively. The game respects your time, and is flexible. Each level is quite bite-sized as well, so you can either binge it (if you have time) or go at it in smaller chunks (if you need something you just want to play for 20 minutes). They don't overstay their welcome, and stay relatively interesting as well. You only go through 2 levels (and 1 boss level/fight) per world generally, and each world eventually starts getting things like mutators (random effects for that level). ![]() Hit and miss for some, but personally I like it. Like any other effect, they range from "very good" to "WTF Amazing". Your character doesn't act directly, they have passive effects they can bestow on your monsters.
